Making a hockey film comes with one particularly important production question: Where are we going to get ice?

Finding the right rink for Shootout has been one of the biggest logistical pieces of pre-production. Between availability, cost, scheduling, and the needs of the production, finding a space that works has taken a lot of coordination behind the scenes.

That has meant reaching out to local rinks and venues, exploring different options, and working through what would be possible within the scope of the film.

It's been a process, but every conversation has brought us one step closer to finding a home for the Atlanta Ice Dragons.

And we may finally have some exciting news to share soon.
