From the beginning, Shootout has been rooted in a love for hockey and the community surrounding it.
As the film moves through pre-production, we've begun connecting with organizations, teams, athletes, advocates, and members of the hockey community to introduce the project and share the story we're working to tell.
These conversations allow us to connect with people who care about the growth of women's hockey representation within the sport, and creating spaces where more people can see themselves both on and off the ice and on screen.
The support, advice, connections, and enthusiasm we've received along the way have already become an important part of bringing Shootout to life.
We're excited to continue building those relationships as we get closer to production—and to bringing the hockey community along with us.
Shooutout is proud to partner with Keeper of the Flames, connecting our women’s hockey story with breast cancer awareness and an organization supporting women in the Savannah community.
