We're excited to welcome Shelby Marin to the cast of Shootout as Nicole Blackwell, captain of the Atlanta Ice Dragons. Nicole enters Game 7 determined to lead her team to the Coyne Cup while hiding a knee injury that threatens far more than the game in front of her. As the pressue builds, she's forced to confront what she's willing to sacrifice for the sport she loves and where the line between determination and self-destruction lies.A life long figure skater, Shelby brings extensive experience on the ice to the role, including performing her own skating sequences and figure skating stunts. Her work includes lead roles in I Kissed My Enemy at the Ice Rink and Skating Vertical, along with experience in physically demanding and action-based performance.Shelby is most excited to bring a story to life that she feels everyone can find something to relate to while also highlighting women's sports. As a figure skater, the ice has always been her happy place, and she's especially excited to return to it while challenging herself by stepping into the world of hockey. And when it comes to hockey, there's no hesitation — Shelby is a Tapma Bay Lightning fan! We're thrilled to have Shelby leading the Ice Dragons!
