Casting Shootout means building more than a cast—we're building a hockey team.
The Atlanta Ice Dragons are at the center of the world of Shootout, and bringing that team to the screen means finding hockey players who can help us authentically bring the team and the world surrounding them to life.
We're looking for hockey players to join the Ice Dragons and the teams surrounding them as background performers, helping create the look and presence of a full team both on and off the ice. A few players and goalies will also be selected for featured shots within the film.
Having people who already understand hockey helps us build a more believable team environment, from the way players carry themselves in the locker room to the visual language of the sport itself.
Piece by piece, the Atlanta Ice Dragons are coming off the page and onto the screen.
